Visual Enquiry Collections

The theme for this mini project is "Collections" as part of a visual inquiry. It serves as the foundation for the major project "Moments in Nature." "Collections" involves researching and gathering imagery, which will help determine the primary imagery for the project. This mini project took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting the need to find objects to draw at home.

While working on this mini project at home, I aimed to contribute to both the mini and major projects. The "Collections" theme allowed me to experiment with new techniques, such as Adobe skills, printing techniques, and painting/drawing skills, and to make improvements in these areas.

MOMENTS IN NATURE

Continuing from the exploration of "collections," I draw inspiration from ceramics like pottery that belonged to my grandparents or that I have collected over time, as well as flowers gathered from the garden, the house, or from walks.

In my major project, I aim to integrate these designs in various ways, utilizing patterns to create unique effects, whether by placing them in between, concealing them, using different shapes or lines, situating them on top, or arranging them in a specific flow.
